Buying souvenirs on board

Hi everyone,

 

I will be boarding the Solstice this Friday :D and heading for Alaska. We have a bit of OBC, and I was wondering if I could plan on spending it on souvenirs for the kids. My husband and I are going on a very belated honeymoon, and we are not taking our children, but we would like to bring back some cute, not terribly pricey stuff for them (they are 11 and 13).

 

Are the shops all high end merchandise, or can I find some kid-pleasing tourist-type stuff on board?

You will be able to find some kid stuff on board. Not cheap, but reasonably priced. Enjoy your belated honeymoon.

You might want to see what's available in Alaska first, then use your OBC on other things. I'm sure the ship will have t-shirts. Happy honeymoon!:D

As it is almost the end of the Alaska cruise season, lots of shops in the ports have big sales but I think the ship does too.

And there will be flash sales of t shirts post cards, watches, jewelry, pashmina, etc thru the trip
