Weird Trees

I saw on someone's review a picture of these really weird looking trees. I wanted to make a note of where it was so I could go see it, but I've been searching and can't find the thread, or any thread that would reference these weird trees. They were really tall, closely grouped together, ominous looking. Can anyone help?

I don't know if it was my review that you are referencing but my review from our cruise on the Carnival Freedom in March had pics of the weird trees in Key West.

 

I was fascinated with all the crazy trees there...lol

Banyan trees maybe? There are some impressive banyan trees at the Banyan Resort, 323 Whitehead St. It's only a few blocks down Whitehead St from Pier B.

 

Otherwise, I can't think of any other trees you're descibing. Maybe the kapok tree in front of the courthouse. That's just 2 more blocks down Whitehead.

I also think it must be the Banyan tree, also commonly known as the Ficus.

Yes, the banyan trees are what I saw. They look so cool. I'm making note of where they're located so I can see them in person when I get there. Thanks guys!

The closest ones will be at the Banyan Resort on Whitehead like Paul mentioned above.
