star princess - overlooked balconies?

We are thinking of Star Princess, Oct. 9th 2005. On which deck are cabin/suite balconies overlooked?

If by "overlooked" you mean balconies that are totally open and can be viewed by decks up above they are on Dolphin deck. Caribe deck is partially covered.

To the OP could you clarify your question please?...I have been on the Star 4 times and know that ship pretty well as Coiran points out!

PrincessAddict: We went on Caribbean Princess last year - Caribe deck- balconies were big but the balconies below - on Dolphin deck, were totally exposed to the balconies above. I've heard that the minisuites on Star Princess are also totally exposed to the decks above, or maybe it's just minisuites on certain decks?

Yes they are all exposed on Dolphin Deck except for the CAT AD Mini-Suites on Emerald deck. Those mini-suites are covered.

Were on the Baja deck of the Star Princess in Oct. 16 2005, and there partly covered.

We are on Oct 9 Star cruise and have 2 minisuites on Dolphin Deck which has the fully exposed balcony. my cousins are on Baja deck with a covered balcony cabin, not mini suite.

 

the Emerald deck has some mini-suites with covered balconys - those to the aft of the ship.

Try the regular balcony cabins on Emerald Deck.......Fabulous!!

The Aloha and Baja are covered, Caribe is part covered and part open, dolphin is open. We chose Caribe to have the best of both worlds.
