dongordon Posted September 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2013 I hear about the activiiesy of the Plank and the Ropes on the Breakaway. Is it for kids, adults or both? What exactly is it and is there an extra charge for this? (Sometimes NCL charges extra for things) ! :) Also, how is the miniature golf...is it as nice as the ones on land or a very abbreviated version? Thanks. OceanBlue123 Posted September 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2013 Ropes course is like this one: http://www.palisadesclimb.com/ It was great. For both adults and kids. No charge, but the hours are too short, so sometimes the wait to get on is very long. Mini golf is 9 short holes. It is pretty good simply because it is new and not all torn and wrinkled like they often become. Also free, and open 24 hours. We would hit the buffet before closing then play a few rounds. Made a nice warm-up for the Fun Golf mini golf course in the Dockyard. Now that was some great mini golf!

2tnts Posted September 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2013 Oh no! Work meets vacation. In a management training class we had to complete a ropes course as well as zipline.

albean99 Posted September 15, 2013 #9 Share Posted September 15, 2013 It's fun but a little scary for those afraid of heights like me. There was no lineup when we did it. It's hot with the thing you wear that the tether hooks on. You have to go through quite a bit to get to the plank. I'm proud to say I did it. You have to get to a line to trigger the photo. The end of the course is the zipline which is fun. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
