Riemercruisin Posted September 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2013 (edited) Another one of my famous "what would YOU do" questions. I need to decide within the next hour between a Lido deck balcony cabin (10286) and the L-shaped Aft wrap (9475) smaller cabin but long wrap. Both are close to food, I don't care about Lido chair noise. Just, WHICH one would make my cruise more fun??? Help! happy cruzin Posted September 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2013 (edited) We are aft bookers...we usually book the aft wraps. I'd say go with the aft wrap cabin!! ;) Edited September 25, 2013 by happy cruzin
virginiab Posted September 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2013 I have visited folks in both types of cabins and I think it depends on how you cruise. If you spend all available time on the balcony, consider the wrap. For myself, I can't handle too much sun and I really like having a sofa in the cabin, so I'd take the regular balcony. But I have to say My husband and I had one on the Breeze last week. We loved it. The privacy. The ability to sit out when the weather was a bit wet. The close view of the ocean. I was impressed. I did not expect to be impressed. And they were cheaper.
cccer Posted September 25, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2013 We were just in a Lido balcony this summer on the Breeze and loved it. Not much noise from the pool area. We have tried an extended aft before, but prefer the Lido. Nothing against the aft balcony but all things considered take the Lido.
FunCruise1234 Posted September 26, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 26, 2013 The wrap cabin balcony is only 15 square feet larger than a normal balcony. So, if you want a sofa, then go for the normal balcony.
greendj Posted January 27, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 27, 2014 Hi! New to this forum. I am wondering which cabin you chose. We are booked for Breeze Balcony cabin 10286 and wondering if you chose that one and would like to hear your advice/pros/cons. Thanks!!
Riemercruisin Posted January 27, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted January 27, 2014 Hi. Sorry I can't help you out. I decided on the aft wrap. Which isn't an official wrap (category 8D), but still nice narrow and looooong balcony. Not much sun, so perfect. Still very close to Lido, so it was a good choice. bjd2 Posted January 27, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 27, 2014 We had Lido balcony 10276 last February and would book that location again in a heartbeat. It was awesome. Convenient to everything. No noise. Good luck with your decision!
belkin Posted January 28, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) We were just on the Breeze. Our kids had the L shaped aft cabin and it seemed very tight. If it was me I would go for the Lido balcony cabin. Edited January 28, 2014 by belkin
Rare LPGA Golfer Gal Posted January 28, 2014 #11 Share Posted January 28, 2014 We LoVED our Lido balcony on the Breeze. No noise from 10267. Loved it!

mum2bradley Posted January 28, 2014 #13 Share Posted January 28, 2014 We were in 10282 on the Breeze at Christmas and booked it again for New Years this year. We always stay in that area. No noise just a little bit on deck party nights. Actually we have always booked a room in that area.
