Rare Scrapnana Posted September 29, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2013 Here is a result of a search of the Bermuda forum. Sounds like this is not the nicest beach on the island.
SailBadtheSinner Posted October 4, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2013 anyone know how far snorkel park beach is from king's wharf? Thanks Snorkel Park beach is a 5-7 minute walk from King's Wharf. There is an entry fee for the park and it is atypical of the other beaches in Bermuda. There is no pink sand there. SBtS
meglet Posted October 4, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2013 Not the most beautiful, but easy peasy and the cabanas are great! If you've been to BDA like I have and want a relaxing day off the ship, it's a great option.

OceanBlue123 Posted October 4, 2013 #6 Share Posted October 4, 2013 Snorkel Park is also a great option if you get some rain during the day and only have an hour or two late in the afternoon to hit a beach. No long taxi or bus ride to bother with. We did this and not only did we have the beach almost all to ourselves, but there was not even anyone around to collect the entrance fee. caribsun Posted October 5, 2013 #7 Share Posted October 5, 2013 If we are in Bermuda for 3 nights we do the best beaches the 1st 2 days and Snorkel Park the last day since most times you need to be back on the ship early afternoon. :)
vanilaise Posted November 8, 2013 #8 Share Posted November 8, 2013 there was not an entry fee to get into snorkel park. went went a couple different times just popping in and relaxing before we got back on the ship. it definitely doesnt come close to Horsehoe bay but good for kids or drinkers they have music playing and a cool vibe going on, if you are looking for a peaceful picturesque beach this isnt for you... if you want to drink hang out in the son and just chill then its for you Im 34 with 3 kids

I don't know when you were there, but your experience relative to admission costs would not apply to the vast majority of cruisers. At other times admission is free in order to attract customers who presumably will spend money in other ways (such as at the bar).
Barb Nahoumi Posted November 11, 2013 #12 Share Posted November 11, 2013 I use Snorkel Park on the last day, since we don't want to be far from the ship. The beach is ok, nothing wrong with it.
Iliveinbermuda Posted November 22, 2013 #13 Share Posted November 22, 2013 Snorkel park beach is a fantastic man made beach off by the royal naval dockyard. The spot is great for swimming, snorkelling and water sports with great facilities.. No wonder thousands of tourists go there every year when they are on holiday
