wiselindag Posted July 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2005 We are booked on the Century Christmas/New Years cruise and got a great deal on an outside cabin, which appears from the deck plan, to be located under the kitchen. In the past I've been very fortunate to have cabins located under other cabins and have never had a noise problem. Has anyone had experience with cabins under kitchens on Celebrity ships? claud925 Posted July 7, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2005 Get real - there will be noise issues (hence the great rate). Can't think of a busier area of the ship, especially in the early morning when they're getting ready for the breakfast crowd . . . dinnertime, however, shouldn't be too bad, since you're likely not in your cabin during that time anyway (or if you are, at least not asleep....). Hello Wiselindag ! I cant say if you will definately have problems or not. If possible, I would ask for a change in your cabin. If you got a really good deal, that probably is part of the reason why you did. Please let us know what happens. Enjoy your Cruise !
wiselindag Posted July 7, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted July 7, 2005 What a great response. My T.A. has corrected the error and we are now located farther forward, but under other cabins. Much better! Thanks to everyone who answered my question so quickly. I'll do my best to return the favor!
