Gardengirl, For a couple of hundred dollars more... Yes you would. Don't kid yourself. And the other poster. It's a secret room. Most staff members don't know this room exists. Here's how it works. You book the best suite on your cruise. Like the Grand Suite. A month before you leave a Upgrade Fairy goes down the list and sees if any of the GRAND Suite clients want THIS ROOM for more money. If they say NO they go down the list.... If EVERYONE says No they Drop the asking price even MORE and go down the list again. That's how my fairy explained it to me. So, No you can't book it you have to be asked.

That room looks great!!! how do you book a room like that, I tried to look at carnivals web sight and faked a few dates but no owner suites, is there a trick to get a room?

We got offered one in September on the Imagination 4 day cruise .It was $1000 more for the two of us.I declined the upsell fairy

Wow, the one we had on the ecstacy was much more updated. Would have not gotten that one. Thanks for the video.

I agree. I appreciate the OP posting this video for us to get a first-hand look. I wouldn't pay extra for this suite unless I needed a lot of room. Other than space and that wonderful whirlpool bathtub, I don't see a lot to get excited about. The balcony looks small and the obstructed view is not worthy of an owner's suite for sure.

I have to agree. It was great on space, but otherwise it just didn't do it for me.

Sobernextime. We had the owners suite on the ecstacy 8-26-13. Our suite was a lot more updated than this one. And NO, I would not have accepted the upsell for this suite, like I did for the ecstacy. We were sent photos of the suite, so we knew what it looked like before be took the upsell.

DH and I had a Verandah room booked on the 5-day Ecstasy last year. They called and offered us the Owner's Suite for $1750more.

I told the gal that the Grand Suite was currently offered online for $200 more than I paid for my current Verandah booking and she said, "Deal!" :)

I spent that $1750 and Oh...so much more...in the casino and elsewhere!

I guess NO One wanted ours. We got offered the room for $200 more. And I was with my family . We jumped on it. Sorry you guys feel it wasn't updated enough for 200 more. I have teen age boys and enjoyed the space. i wouldn't do it again because My oldest is off to college soon and I their won't be a need. Take care and here is Part 2. Maybe the people that had the chance to take the $1700 more rooms with pictures should pass on my boring little video. I mean it's just a video of a outdated overpriced penthouse suite.
