booking a cruise

Am I the only one who has had a problem trying to book a cruise? I have been on hold over 45 minutes trying to book a cruise in April. I never use travel agents as a few years ago, this is what I did and I have no problem booking our travel. I have never waited this long to speak to an agent, have you had this experience?

thank you so much for this information. I was on hold and continued to get the message about their northwest cruise. My husband just tried again and did receive the message that they are closed.

thank you for your replies!!!! I left a voice mail message yesterday and they did get back to us today and we are booked. We are going on the April 21 New Orleans sailing. Have never sailed on a river boat in the US, so very excited.
