Anyone here ever sailed the Norwegian Cruise to Nowhere? Can you tell me your experience? It will be my first cruise and I am excited but nervous..will I have my luggage in time for dinner so I can get dressed up? Will I get sea sick? Can I text on a cruise or will I get charged roaming charges? Can we carry our own luggage off to leave the ship sooner so we don't have to wait? Anyone know if the Norwegian Gem has a hot tub outside-would it be open in November? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!:)

No need to worry about luggage, because you will be carrying all of it on and off with you. There is no luggage service on a one-night cruise.

The hot tubs will be open.

If you feel sea-sick, head directly to the guest services desk and they will give you chewable meclizine tablets. Or, you can bring your own - it's available over the counter under the brand name Bonine. Works like a charm.

Since this is your first cruise, I must ask you NOT to judge whether or not you like cruising by this one nighter. The atmosphere will be COMPLETELY different on a one-night cruise, and will in no way, shape or form give you any idea of what a real cruise is like. ;)

That being said, have a wonderful time!

:)

You can find other cruisers who have been on these 1 nighters. Look for this cruise under "NCL Roll Calls". You can ask away.

Think of crunching 2 great nights in one.

Waldospepper is correct, we do sail for a fun night!

See you onboard.
