Well, hello everybody! It’s meeeee again! All4Fun&Fun4All with what I hope to be a helpful, entertaining and exciting adventure for you to read about. And guess what? I went on a different ship this time! I KNOW I know! That’s crazy right? Seriously though, how many reviews of the Fantasy do you think I can pull off? It was time to try something new and with a new itinerary to boot! I sailed away without the Andrew this time (double crazy right?) on a girl’s cruise on my absolute favorite holiday of all time…HALLOWEEN!!!! I had a fantabulous time however, I don’t think I will sail without the Andrew in the future. Don’t get me wrong now, I had a total blast but there were many instances where I felt like something was missing from the experience.

DISCLAIMER TIME: Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here. Really, turn around and run away right now if you are looking for a short and tidy review with a couple of pictures sprinkled in. I take pictures of everything that interests me and what I think may interest a cruiser. I tend to ramble as well. I also include randomness that occurs just because the strangest things happen to me when I travel. And all of this was amplified since I was travelling without my travel buddy. With that being said, I will hang back for a moment while the masses of concise review readers vacate and leave behind the brave few who want to come along for the ride. Go ahead….I will wait.

Are they all gone? Good. Shall we proceed? Sure! Why not.

Who, What, Where, When & Why: The Andrew got a new job back in January of this year and knew that he would not be asking for any time off so I figured that a cruise would not be happening for 2013. Some of the Fantasy Girls from our last cruise in December were planning this October cruise and I offhandedly mentioned it to him, saying how cool it would be to go on a Halloween cruise. That is when he totally blew my mind and said I should go without him. Whaaaaat? I tossed the idea around in my head, snagged another Fantasy Girl as my roomie and booked the cruise!

We booked Carnival Fascination sailing out of Jacksonville for a 5 day with 2 ports. (Little Stirrup Cay and Nassau). We got a porthole room for $259.00 pp and booked Past Guest Rate which we eventually changed to Early Saver to get our price drops. Our rate eventually ended up at $179.00 pp which gave us an OBC of $80.00. Not too bad. So, Anjanu, Spressomom, BananaAnna, Banana’s daughter and All4Fun were to be reunited once again.

This is all I have for today (still organizing about 1000 pics) but tune in tomorrow kids when the pictures will begin showing up and my adventure without the Andrew begins.

I wanted to at least get this much posted so that I can motivate myself to finish by Saturday at the latest.

Headed to mom's to upload the iphone pics to photobucket and already have written through pre-cruise stuff. If I can get those pics uploaded quickly then I will post what I have written so far.

I am a little disappointed in some of my indoor pics onboard. New camera and I am not familiar with the settings so no food porn pics this time. You guys pretty much know what the food looks like by now. ;)

Allrighty! About time, Nancy! I've been anxiously awaiting your review!

In exactly one week, I'll be in the air on my way to San Juan, so you'd better hurry and get those pics uploaded and get busy writing because I want to know every detail! :p

PRE-PRE CRUISE STUFF: Prior to the cruise I checked out our roll call on CC which was already in full swing and then I started a "popular social networking" Ghoulie page for our sailing when I was unable to find one that already existed. Both avenues of communication were a great way to get to know everyone before we got onboard. Many plans were made and I just KNEW this was going to be a group full of fun minded people. There was talk of tu tu gatherings and open bar parties and Halloween costumes. My kind of people for sure!

Two of the members on the Ghoulie page lived around the Charleston, SC area and we decided to meet up for pre-cruise libations at a local watering hole. Tanya and Tony (both on the cruise), Michelle and Aaron (Michelle leaving Aaron behind) and myself and the Andrew (me leaving Andrew behind) met up at Gene's Haufbrau for a few cocktails.

Oops! What happened to Tony?

Even my cocktail had a tu tu!

I left at a reasonable time in order to get home and move my suitcases around since there was really no last minute packing to do. I had been packed since May actually.

PRE-CRUISE STUFF (10/27/13):

The pre-cruise plan was to stay in Savannah at the Holiday Inn Express with BananaAnna and her daughter Robin and meet up with Anjanu (Sheryl) for dinner since Sheryl lives close to the hotel. Then on cruise day I would pick Sheryl up and we would head to Jacksonville in the morning.

This would be the first time I have ever travelled by myself to an unfamiliar destination so I was quite nervous. I set the GPS and was on my way to Savannah from Charleston around noon. I left behind a very sad Andrew and my new kitten but I left a present a day with a card for the Andrew to open while I was gone.

By 2:00pm exactly I arrived at the hotel without incident of getting lost or even having to make any stops. I was quite proud of myself and after patting myself on the back, checked in to the hotel. After seeing that Ann and Robin had not yet arrived I went in search of a little lunch to tide me over until our dinner at Tailgate. I didnt get anything spectacular...just a few chicken tenders from KFC and proceeded to get lost on my way back to the hotel...which was right across the street. *sigh*

Right as I pulled back into the hotel, Ann and Robin pulled up and we all got settled into the hotel room and awaited Sheryl's arrival to take us on a little field trip.
