charlielinda Posted November 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2013 We had to cancel a cruise at the very last minute due to medical issues. I am now dealing with the travel insurance (through Celebrity) for the cruise fare and choice air. I need to provide receipts for the air fare. When I call Celebrity they tell me to contact the airlines (U.S. Air and Virgin Atlantic) and when I call the them they refer me back to Celebrity. Does anyone know who I can contact at Celebrity to figure this out. The fares were non-refundable but I’m assuming my insurance will cover it. Any ideas. As for Celebrity returning beverage package, gratituties, taxes & fees, and even an upgrade charge, they have been wonderful. After a week all the charges were refunded to my credit card. Also, anyone that thinks nothing will happen and they don’t need insurance please reconsider. The insurance is a god send for us. We were 48 hours from leaving for a 13-day cruise when we found out we couldn’t travel.
Iamthesea Posted November 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) If you are not already, is there a separate Choice Air number that you can call? If so, have you tried calling the Captains Club (assuming you are a member?) I have found that they are eager to help.
