Park and Cruise Hotel Suggestions in Miami

:confused: We are driving to Miami from Wisconsin and will arrive 2 days before leaving on the Carnival Breeze on March 15. We need a reasonably priced hotel with free parking during our cruise. A free shuttle to the Port of Miami is not necessary, secure parking is more important. We are looking at the Hyatt Place Miami Airport-West/Doral. Any other suggestions or anyone have any experience with this Hyatt with parking? Thank you.

Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon and the nearby Homewood Suites Blue Lagoon are often suggested on these boards. Good luck! :)

The Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon has a two level gated parking garage which seems to be in a pretty secure area. It's #16 on the map here.

Embassy Suites (airport) I used it in September and thought it was great using it again in December.
