I have started to create a blog from our November 10 to 17, 2013 Celebrity Xpedition cruise to Galapagos

The blog can be found at: http://www.traveltogalapagos.info/

Please note that the blog by today is still not finished - need some proof reading (you are welcome with comments and corrections) - also more text, blog entries and pictures will be added soon.

In addition some videos from the trip will soon be posted at:

If you are going snorkeling after your hike/walk w/the naturalists - do you bring all equipment with you & wear swim suit/rash shirts underneath your clothing & change right on the beach? And do you just leave belongings on the beach then (like cameras, clothing, etc.)? I have read & read & read reviews/blogs & noone seems to mention to make sure & wear swim suits underneath - I can't imagine they take you back & forth to the ship????

Thank you for all the work you put into this - we are not going until Nov. 20, 2015 and already excited and planning.....

You bring the equipment in a bag and leave at the beach before the tour, at the islands. You just wear the swim suit under your clothing.

You can leave all you belonging at the beach when snorkelling - there will only be you and the people from the Xpedition at the beach - nobody else.

Xpedition will take care of everything - just relax and enjoy- no worries.

Just ask questions...

Here is a short vide on Xpedition dry and wet landings.
