Nassau Casinos

I have some questions about going to casinos in Nassau.

Do you have to have a day pass or be a guest to go to the casinos at Wyndam/Sheraton or Atlantis? Or can just anyone go to them?

Also, how far a part are the casinos? Could we walk to Atlantis from port? I know you have to take a bus or taxi over to the Sheraton.

Thanks!

No, you don't have a day pass to gamble. Atlantis and Sheraton are not anywhere near each other. Atlantis is on Paradise Island and Sheraton is on Cable Beach. You could walk to Atlantis but it would not be fun. :) Take a taxi for $4. Sheraton is in the process of being taken over by Melia so I don't know the status of the casino. From what I understand, it's only been open for limited hours.
