Amagamma Posted December 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2013 We have a few short cruises next month, and do enjoy the Diamond area in the MDR. Does anyone know if the Liberty, Majesty and Enchantment offer this? We were on the Freedom in Feb., and I know they had seating in Chops at the Windjammer. Thanks for the info

FLACRUISER99 Posted December 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 13, 2013 Legend allowed D+ in the Suite/Gold Care area on the 11/12/13 saling but not on the 11/27/13 Members cruise.
cruisenfever Posted December 13, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 13, 2013 On our June b2b on Vision, there was also an area in the MDR for Diamond/Diamond Plus Guests to enjoy breakfast.

D+ were also allowed into the Gold Card section on the 10/30/13 transatlantic. Legend had a Gold Card section for lunch too, though I didn't see any difference from the non Gold Card section. Amagamma Posted December 13, 2013 Author #9 Share Posted December 13, 2013 Thanks for the quick replies. Looks like we will be able to enjoy on the Majesty and the Enchantment. Maybe the Liberty will have the Chops set up for the Windjammer. Fingers crossed.
DarthGrady Posted December 30, 2013 #10 Share Posted December 30, 2013 An update for this thread: On the 12/16/13 Brilliance cruise they had the Pinnacle/suite guest (gold card) breakfast in Chops open to Diamond Plus members as well. I'm not sure if it is going fleet wide or if it is one of those things that will be decided ship by ship.

KeywestK Posted December 30, 2013 #12 Share Posted December 30, 2013 (edited) We had breakfast most morning in the Diamond Lounge on Grandeur last August. Does anyone know if there is a Diamond breakfast set up on Serenade in their Diamond Lounge? Edited December 30, 2013 by KeywestK
Missus Makkem Posted December 30, 2013 #13 Share Posted December 30, 2013 We had breakfast most morning in the Diamond Lounge on Grandeur last August. Does anyone know if there is a Diamond breakfast set up on Serenade in their Diamond Lounge? Only a cold buffet type as in Concierge.

Clarea Posted December 30, 2013 #15 Share Posted December 30, 2013 How do you find if it is open to Diamond Plus members? There may be a sign near the entrance, and/or you will get a letter in your stateroom with details. If you need to know before the cruise, there's no reliable way to know. Someone in Miami may tell you one thing, but it could be completely different once you board.
Topo Gigio Posted December 30, 2013 #16 Share Posted December 30, 2013 Only a cold buffet type as in Concierge. But on Serenade there is a Diamond area in the MDR. At least it was available on the Transatlantic because there were so many of us. Don't know that she is sailing the Caribbean if that is still the case. jonbgd Posted December 30, 2013 #17 Share Posted December 30, 2013 How is it on the Liberty? Is there any difference in what is served? Or is it just a section that is separate from the masses:confused:

Spring Valley Posted December 30, 2013 #20 Share Posted December 30, 2013 Do they actually check your seapass before entering?
Jimnbigd Posted December 30, 2013 #21 Share Posted December 30, 2013 I think ships without a Diamond Lounge have the Diamond Breakfast. I was on the Navigator Dec. 1 and they had the breakfast but no Diamond Lounge. After the dry dock, the MDR area on Deck 3 that housed the breakfast will be cabins, and the 19th hole on deck 14 will be the new Diamond Lounge -- which is fine with me so I can get my cappuccino anytime. Clarea Posted December 30, 2013 #22 Share Posted December 30, 2013 Do they actually check your seapass before entering? They usually check the first time you show up.
Aquahound Posted December 30, 2013 #23 Share Posted December 30, 2013 How is it on the Liberty? Unless they recently started doing it on Liberty, they don't do a Diamond breakfast on that ship. At least, they didn't the last couple times I was on board. I think ships without a Diamond Lounge have the Diamond Breakfast. That was what I thought....but Enchantment does the D breakfast and has a lounge.
Clarea Posted December 30, 2013 #24 Share Posted December 30, 2013 ...That was what I thought....but Enchantment does the D breakfast and has a lounge. Just to add another confusing data point, Legend had a D+/Gold Card breakfast area in the MDR.
