Rick2594 Posted December 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2013 Sailing on Adventure departing San Juan on Jan 5. Will be in Curacao on Jan 10 from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. My daughter is recently married and would like to take pictures with her new husband. Can anyone suggest any scenic spots that would provide a nice backdrop? Originally posted this on Curacao board but seems to be very little activity there. Hoping some RCCL folks might have ideas. Thanks!
seaofwonder Posted December 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 26, 2013 There is a pedestrian bridge near the dock. This is a very picturesque spot as you can have the background of the beautiful Dutch architecture. Curaçao is my favorite island due to the architecture....so similar to Amsterdam, but with caribbean colors. Aviator of the Seas Posted December 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 26, 2013 How's this? This is Willemstad as you take the ferry or walk over the bridge into town from the cruise ship dock. This is very early in the morning. When the sun shines right, the colors of the waterfront just explode.
Isa65 Posted December 26, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 26, 2013 Besides the Pontoon bridge, a spot where many brides love to have pictures taken is in the Kura Hulanda hotel. This is within walking distance of the pier and the hotel resembles a small village with quaint colorful rooms (as houses).
