Bringing mixers on board for in room drinks

We were thinking of bringing on some Tonic and Bloody Mary Mix, then buy some bottles of Gin/vodka in the room. Is it worth it to do this? Can you get Tonic/Mix at the bars with the mocktail drink card?

You can bring what you want.

I most always bring along some diet tonic water since it is not available onboard.

If you buy the soda sticker they will fill a large glass(es) with tonic or soda for you at the bar at no extra charge.

Another good one is vodka, ginger ale, and a squeeze of lime. You can bring a plastic squeeze lime with you, or I take the fresh limes from DH's beer buckets. A couple needs to work together.;)

Room Service is happy to bring you sliced limes as well.

Not always. Last cruise on Caribbean Princess, I tried both with room service and adding lime to fruit bowl request, denied every day. :( I usually bring my own, but from NYC, didn't have easy access to store.

Another option.....We saw a guy go to the bar and ask for a "glass of lime slices" and they sent him on his way with probably 10-15 slices that I presume he took to his room.

That's pretty much what I usually get from Room Service. A small dish with probably two limes sliced.

Of course I give the RS employee a tip when they deliver.
