Luluwa Posted January 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2014 We are flying from Texas Saturday to sail out Sunday on the Pride. I hope we don't have ice or snow to deal with. Any weather predictions? And.... By the way it's SO much easier to drive to a port to sail away than to fly. What was I thinking?!?
JeanieTheMom Posted January 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Forecast is for a high of 42 and a chance of rain. It could be worse! I'm going on the Pride in Feb. This will be the first time I have been able to drive to a cruise. I think you're right. It will be easier. As for what you were thinking -- hey, you're going to be on a cruise!:D
asalligo Posted January 1, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Just curious, what made you decide on the Pride when coming from Texas?

blondietink Posted January 1, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 1, 2014 I would be the one saying "What were you thinking, sailing out of the northeast in January?" , especially when you live in Texas. It is going to be cold!
going2cruz Posted January 1, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 1, 2014 Hopefully you won't need your winter coat, hat, and gloves Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk And if you driving and parking at the port throw a shovel in the trunk.....no telling what you'll be up against a week later........ Luluwa Posted January 2, 2014 Author #10 Share Posted January 2, 2014 Mostly because we haven't sailed on the Pride or out of Baltimore so new ship, new port for us. Just curious, what made you decide on the Pride when coming from Texas?
