Alwaysacruiseinthequeue Posted January 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2014 MIDSHIP - LIDO Who could ask for more? This is an INTERIOR cabin; but may prove to be worth it to you because of the proximity of the cabin to EVERYTHING and the COST ($1,342 - total, less tips - 8 days). This cabin is within 2 seconds of the HUB connectivity area, which is the area just as you go out onto the lido deck. It's less than 10 seconds from door to deck!!!! It was great!!! I may never ever choose another room than this one! Pictures and videos... https://breeze10289lidointeriorcabin.shutterfly.com/

cruzinismyname Posted January 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2014 (edited) Just like what we hoped for! We booked 10288 on the other side 15 months ago for the 6 day cruise and paid $863 total! It is going to be so cool to just walk right out our door to the pool and eats! We leave a week from Sunday! woohoo!!! Thanks for the vid! :D Edited January 6, 2014 by cruzinismyname

dwaterhouse Posted January 6, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 6, 2014 Thanks. We have cabin 10281 just one cabin away from yours on the 18th. Our first inside ever, your pictures make me feel better! Lynn We have this cabin booked march 15 th and it is our first inside cabin also, I was told by my pvp that this is also a handicap room, so it would have a slightly bigger room and bathroom. We were also told that if someone needed the handicapped room we would be bumped, and I have no problem with that. I have looked up the same room number on the dream, on cruiselinerooms dot com and it looks like we will be ok.
becky11111 Posted January 8, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 8, 2014 We had 10284 interior. we loved it. it was very close to everything and quiet. we never get a balcony as we like being up on deck anyway. I liked being able to get up early in the morning and get our coffee and sit out on the lido deck watching old reruns of Frasier and The Honeymooners until breakfast opened. nhslb46 Posted January 8, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 8, 2014 My wife and I have booked these cabins on the Magic on our last two cruises. It was great being close to the Lido. You're close to the food and the noise isn't too bad. We've been spending more time on deck 5 recently, so we'll be moving to the empress deck next time. Money is tight but determined to cruise so went with the inside naturally and chose the Lido because of the location. I'm not going to lie we have always had a balcony and I'm nervous. I'm sure somebody knows what I'm feeling. Thanks again for the pics :)
daremi3 Posted February 26, 2014 #12 Share Posted February 26, 2014 :)Thanks for the pics/videos. That extra door as a sound barrier really eases my fears about noise levels in the area.
dwaterhouse Posted February 27, 2014 #13 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Since it looks like the head of the bed is against the side wall of the hallway... How noisy is it?

all168 Posted September 8, 2014 #15 Share Posted September 8, 2014 I was in 10289, the room is so convenient to lido deck, to the buffet, casino, everything 'cos 10 elevators are withing 50ft, and the door to the poor and dive in theater is so close, but since it's so close, you will hear the noise and bass until everything ended, probably 11pm-12am most of the night, if you sleep earlier than that and can't sleep with any noise, this is not for you. I was trying to sleep in first day at 11pm due to jet leg, but I can't sleep 'cos the bass keep me shaking. but Lido deck is great.

We were on the opposite side in 10286 in July and loved just walking out to the mid ship area everyday. Its also very convenient if you utilize the mid-ship pool area during the day. We booked same cabin for our B2B next July.
forwardcabin Posted September 9, 2014 #17 Share Posted September 9, 2014 We've been in cabin 10270 on each of our last three Magic cruises. Love the Lido location. Never had a problem with noise. However, we booked our next Magic cruise in a cove balcony--just to see if we might like it. We've seen the cove on cabin crawls and those who have stayed in them really love them. When it comes to cabin selection, we will try most anything at least once.
