Sea lice at Chankanaab??

Has anyone ever been stung by sea lice at Chankanab? I'm guessing they would not allow the use of safe sea before a dolphin swim.

I've been going to the Caribbean and Mexico for over 25 years at all different times of the year. I LIVE in the water. Never had an issue anywhere.

Was there recently and no issues at all.

 

And no, they ask that you don't even use regular sunscreen before the dolphin encounters so I don't think they'd want you using a product like that.

Usually go to Cozumel twice a year and been to Chankanaab twice over the years. Never a problem with sea lice or anything there. :)

My friend got it when we went on a private 3 reef snorkeling tour two years ago. We weren't at Chakkanaub but were in Cozumel. She had used lotion on herself before we got off the ship and the doctor told her it must have actracted them. Nasty stuff and it took her forever to get rid of it.
