Ravenscroft Posted January 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2014 I'm asking on behalf of my niece. Which brand of sparkling water is available in the public areas? I can't remember. I'm hoping that one of you can! I'm also hoping that the answer is San Pellegrino, otherwise she'll be hauling goodness knows how many litres of her own onboard. It has made me smile that 47 people have viewed this and have been unable to answer - including me.
Able Seaman H Posted January 14, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2014 There was San Pel on the Sojourn over Christmas. Henry :)

IIRC you'd have to request the San Pel - otherwise they'll give you whatever no-name brand sparkling they picked up in the last port.
Chairsin Posted January 14, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2014 I always request and receive San Pelleigrino -- otherwise they usually serve Perrier. After the first night's dinner in the Restaurant on each cruise they keep a few bottles at the station near our table and automatically pour it.One of the nice things about Seabourn is that they usually pick up on little things like that. Ravenscroft Posted January 15, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted January 15, 2014 Thank you everyone. :D I know it seems a trivial thing, but she doesn't drink alcohol so a glass of San Pellegrino with a twist keeps her happy when she's dining. I've suggested also that she requests her in-suite bar to be stocked with it, ie to specify it on the form and not just ask for sparkling water. tsavorite Posted January 15, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 15, 2014 We always request San Pellegrino. In December, it was available at every meal bar three. Once Perrier was offered, and twice another Italian sparkling water - San Benedetto. Both were fine.
wripro Posted January 15, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 15, 2014 I've never had a problem getting Pellegrino. Just ask.
sfvoyage Posted January 15, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 15, 2014 What about Badoit? Anybody had luck getting that?
Chairsin Posted January 16, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 16, 2014 Oh dear, just shows different tastes. Badoit is the worst bottled water I have ever tasted -- much too salty. So I am happy for you to drink my share and I'll stick with San Pellegrino.
sfvoyage Posted January 16, 2014 #11 Share Posted January 16, 2014 Yes, different tastes, indeed. Badoit happens to be a much-beloved bottled water in France.
wripro Posted January 16, 2014 #12 Share Posted January 16, 2014 I've never seen Badoit aboard but that doesn't mean it's not there. There's plenty of Evian though.
