DaddyBytes Posted January 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2014 We are sailing next Nov on Explorer. We have our own booking. A couple that are friends of ours booked as well but now they are going to cancel. We would like to transfer their booking into our name (and maybe use one of our open bookings for this). Is that possible? The price of the cruise has gone up since they booked and we are looking at trying to find another couple to take their spot and we would like to hold onto that booking until we find someone. So can bookings be transferred? And if they can be, are they transferred without having the new price applied? Thanks.

DaddyBytes Posted January 16, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted January 16, 2014 Thank you for the responses. That is really unfortunate. They booked this cruise at $700ish and its now $1289. So if we are to find another couple to join us, its going to cost them $1289  Any other options I could try and pursue? Or am I out of luck? Merion_Mom Posted January 16, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) One name on the original booking has to stay the same. You can change 1 name on the booking only Not always................. But I don't think that you can go around transferring from Party #1 to Party #2 to Party #3. And you cannot slip a Next Cruise certificate into a cruise that is already booked. Edited January 16, 2014 by Merion_Mom
