Doerthoch Posted January 25, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2014 Hi, I'm currently booked on a cruise heading north Van to Seward in May on Celebrity. First cruise We're not planning on doing a land tour once getting to Seward and planning on flying out the same day. My question is, is there anything to see while cruising Hubbard Glacier to Seward? Thanks D
Old As Dirt Mom Posted January 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2014 Well, right after you come out of Yakutat Bay, you'll be cruising along the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, and you should have a view of Mount St. Elias if the weather is clear. Budget Queen Posted January 27, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2014 It depends on the cpt. I have been on sailings where this segment was all open ocean, and none, for me, in the last 10 years have been all coastal- like some previous when they went to Valdez. :( Best advice, keep on the look out.
