cruisebore Posted January 28, 2014 #52 Share Posted January 28, 2014 Hi Many thanks for all the effort in scanning this 'stuff' With our forthcoming Eclipse cruise being our first with Celebrity it is really giving a heads up on what to expect. One problem we always experience with the British lines is the availability and the hogging of sun loungers on sea days. Please! What is the situation on Eclipse? TIA Cb
middlehaitch Posted January 28, 2014 #53 Share Posted January 28, 2014 thank you very much for all the scans! we'll be on the 03/22 :-) really looking forward to that :-) do you know / can you keep a look whether they still sell the bridge sailaway experience? and if so, at which port? enjoy your cruise! Cavok, if you are on the Eclipse's 22 March 2014 Exotic Southern Caribbean, please come and join our roll call. We are a friendly multi-national bunch Cheers, h

C 2 C Posted January 29, 2014 Author #56 Share Posted January 29, 2014 We, too, are on the Feb. 8 sailing so really appreciate your postings.Reading them helps to heighten the excitement. If you have the time could you ask the CD or activities coordinator if they plan to have the Connections Party for our cruise also on the second sea day? We have some afternoon activites that will have to be rescheduled because we were counting on it being the first sea day. Thank you! The event will be on the same day unless something unforeseen happens… Seems it works better for them than the first day.
C 2 C Posted January 29, 2014 Author #57 Share Posted January 29, 2014 There is a Behind the Scenes tour and lunch for $150 but access to the bridge at a port sail away is now highly restricted since Concordia.

RCCL 1 Posted January 29, 2014 #59 Share Posted January 29, 2014 Hello enjoying your dailies. We are on the 4/5/2014 sailing last year we did the same cruise. The hosts were Remco Hendriks (who is now Cruise Sales Associate on another ship:() and Bruce V????. I was wondering if Bruce would be back on the 4/5/2014 sailing. Would you be so kind to ask the current host. Sandi

Alada2 Posted January 29, 2014 #61 Share Posted January 29, 2014 Really enjoying this. Thanks so much for taking the time to share. We will be sailing on the next voyage (Feb. 8) so we can get a heads up on what to expect. Not being familiar with Cruising Celebrity this is especially helpful. ramblechamp Posted January 29, 2014 #63 Share Posted January 29, 2014 Thank you for the info on the wine. But can you tell me the price of a single malt scotch or high quality vodka? Safe to assume if I want ice it is free. Thank you, Bill

johnjs Posted January 30, 2014 #67 Share Posted January 30, 2014 That's a more modern brochure to the one we saw At Xmas on Millenium stating the $150. I guess there were 700 Aussies on board & Celebrity had to protect profits. Thanks for the scans, this is the trip we are looking. They are very helpful. GiannaD Posted January 30, 2014 #75 Share Posted January 30, 2014 I've been enjoying your scans immensely. I noticed that today's (Jan 30) schedule lists Meet the Glass Blowers. Was that the first show? How many shows are scheduled? Their shows are my favorites. Also do you know when the brunch with all the ice sculptures etc. is scheduled? It has been the last sea day in the past. Thanks
