Jeans in MDR for breakfast/lunch?

So...my DH and I almost always wear jeans during the day. Are jeans allowed in all dining venues during breakfast or lunch (except PG, of course)? We will be on a 38 day cruise (Oosterdam) and need to start clothing planning. Thanks to all of you who help all the rest of us.

Jeans are acceptable for breakfast and lunch in the main dining room and for dinner in the buffet. You are in for a wonderful cruise.

HAL permits jeans in MDR for smart casual night dinner.

Jeans are fine at breakfast and lunch.

Absolutely - you will be fine :) some even wear them on smart casual nights at dinner (the nice ones) ;)

You may get some disapproving looks from others, but since the PG follows the same dress code as the rest of the ship you may wear shorts there for breakfast/lunch and jeans for casual dinners.

If you want, you can also wear shorts in the MDR for breakfast and lunch.
