This depends on the port as far as 11am.. If you sail out of Baltimore, especially in the winter months, the ship does not even return until 10am, so you cant board until 12:30 to 1pm... However, yes when you board, your room will be ready...

We boarded the Valor right after noon in November, door to room still propped open, all he had to do was empty one waste basket and then we were good to go. Rest of room was ready.

Yes. On our cruise a few weeks ago on th eMagic... we got on the ship about 10:45, tried to be first in the red frog pub but someone beat us to it by a few seconds... and then decided to go drop off our carry ons. As we approached our door, they we coming from the other side with our luggage!.. So on both counts -room and luggage- they exceeded my expectations.
