mere08 Posted February 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2014 We are getting ready to book our vacation on the Fascination for the 7 night cruise in May. Going on the trip are me, DH, DD 6, and my parents. This will be the 3rd cruise for the 5 of us. In the past, DH, DD & I have gotten a balcony room with the parents an interior right across the hall. We want to do the same setup on this cruise which is hard due to lack of balconies. We are looking at a Jr. Suite forward on the Veranda deck, same deck as Camp Carnival, and an interior across the hall. However, to do this, we would have to book 2 people in the suite and 3 in the interior room across the hall because the interior room has an occupancy restriction that requires 3+ passengers. I know we can ask the room steward to make up the sofa bed in the suite for our DD, but she will officially be booked in the interior room. Will we be able to change her card so it will be able to unlock the suite? This has been so convenient because when my parents watch her, they can use her card to access our room with her stuff it in. What do you think? cbCRR Posted February 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2014 You can have an extra card made for your cabin and give that to her to open your cabin. The other will be her S&S card. She'll have 2 cards and access to both cabins.

All you have to do is go to Guest Services and ask for an extra key to your cabin, easy peasy!!
firemanbobswife Posted February 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2014 Yep, just what they said. GS will make a duplicate key for the room. Takes all of 2 minutes. Have a great cruise!
