Kids at Melia vs. Wyndham vs. Balmoral

We'll be in Nassau from 11-8 in April. We're booked on the Balmoral excursion right now, but I'm trying to convince my husband to do Melia or Wyndham because since we'll be there for the whole day, I think it will be nice not to be rushed at the beach. We'll have a 2 and 4 year old with us, we didn't have to pay for them for with the Balmoral excursion. Do you know if we'd have to pay for them at Melia or Wyndham? I can't seem to find any information about their day passes. From what I've read here it seems that for about $20-$30 we get the pool, beach, and a chair. Are any water activities (Kayak, water slide or trampoline) included at any of the three? Any pros or cons for Melia vs. Wyndham?

As another suggestion you could do the British Colonial Hilton. It's a short walk from the cruise terminal

We paid 65 each and it included 40 each food and drink voucher. Our 4 Year old was free but the 80 credit was enough to pay for lunch for all three of us and a few adult drinks for us

We enjoyed the beach and spent the other half day at the pool. It was my favourite day on the cruise bc it was not busy at all and we got to enjoy the beach and pool for the while day

They also have beach toys etc for the kids.

My kids always loved the wyndham because of the slide there. it also had a swim up bar that the adults could sit at and keep an eye on the kids. I have not been there for a couple of years though. I read somewhere where the swim up bar was closed but not sure when that was. Maybe scuba girl might know

A few threads lately have stated that the slide and pool bar at the Wyndham is closed. Does anyone know if it will be reopening? We will be in port mid-March. Thinking also of going this route as according to threads, you have access to both properties. Essentially, could we pay the $20/person at Wyndham and use the Melia facilities if were not happy at Wyndham? How far apart are they? Is the casino close and open during the day? We have a group going and one is not really a beach person but loves casinos. Trying to cover all the bases.
