fridge in room?

I posted on the family board about being concerned about having milk for my son if he wakes up at night. I assumed there will be a mini fridge in the room, we haven't cruised in a while but I thought there were always mini fridges. We're in an ocean suite on the Pride. Will we have a fridge?

Yes...there is refrig in the room....but doesn't really keep things cold.... It's more like cool...not cold

If he likes his milk cold I would take a small collapsible cooler for his milk and have your room steward keep it full of ice. The refrigerators don't keep things cold. I have put milk in them and then couldn't drink it because it was barely cool.

Interesting...I've done the Pride 3 times...and had one every time...

The Fantasy class ships don't have them. From your signature you were on the Elation. We sailed on the Fantasy and no fridge there either but on every other cruise I have been on we have had one.

Most of the fridges in Carnival cabins are not cold enough to keep milk from spoiling. I wouldn't trust drinking milk that has spent more than a couple of hours in the cabin fridge.

Not on Fantasy class ships, sadly.. I love sailing on the Fantasy but it frustrates me that there are no fridges in the cabins. :(

If you put milk in ice and in fridge with the outer door ajar a bit to allow circulation, it should be okay.
