floralscent Posted February 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2014 We are staying in a Conceirge class C3 cabin for the first time...we usually stay in a 1C verandah but this time the CC was priced less. I have read about the differences between the 2 categories and understand they aren't really worth it if you have to pay extra for a cabin. I am wondering though what you think is best about this category and what some of your experiences are vs a verandah. We are still a classic captains club member (sure is hard to move up) and have never had priority boarding on a cruise. Is there a separate section of the room we sit in before boarding the ship or how does this work? Any tips for a first time CC passenger are appreciated! Thanks so much!!! footer6 Posted February 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2014 No separate section for priority boarding. Just a different counter. There really weren't long lines at any counter when we boarded. The Concierge cabins are a bit larger if you are sailing on an M class ship. On S class, you get foot rest with your balcony chair. The Concierge room service menu has a couple of additional options. Little extras include a bottle of sparkling wine, the use of binoculars and umbrellas in the cabin, and the (usually not so great) late afternoon canapes.
