lgarner Posted July 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2005 I read in Frommer's 2004 Hawaii guide that no open toed shoes are allowed at the Arizona - no one else says that - including a friend who was there a few months ago. Anyone know the scoop?? Do I need to pack my tennis shoes or will sandals do it?
Suebee Posted July 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2005 The National Park Service website http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=208690 says 'footwear'....it doesnt say what kind. The only special dress is for military members. I would go by that...maybe Frommers hasnt updated their blurb on the Arizona in years.

CruzinQs Posted July 27, 2005 #6 Share Posted July 27, 2005 I wore shorts and sandals with no problems. Get there early - we arrived at 7:20am and had to wait almost 1 1/2 hours to get our ticket and another 1 1/2 to go on the tour!
