okgirl Posted March 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2014 What do the stars and blocks mean by the cabin numbers. Thanks in advance The stars mean it's a cabin for 3 people, the squares mean it's a cabin for 4 people. If you book a cabin that has a higher occupancy rating than the number of people booked (i.e. 2 people in a 3 or 4 person cabin). The cruise line can move you if a booking comes in that would fill the cabin.

k2excursion Posted March 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2014 (edited) To expand on that, the star means that the 3rd person will sleep in a sofabed (not a pullout). The square means that the 3rd person will sleep in a sofabed & the 4th person will sleep in an upper bunk that is fully over the sofabed. If you or anyone else wonders about the interior rooms with 1 or 2 dots, 1 dot means 1 upper bunk and 2 dots means 2 upper bunks. If any upper bunk is not being used, it will remain in the ceiling, totally out of the way. If any sofa will not be used as a bed, it will remain made up as a sofa.
