Ragnar Danneskjold Posted January 30, 2015 #1526 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Idle Jottings has become strangely.......idle. How about a few blatant personal opinions? Ok, I will start. I like the Caribbean better than French Polynesia! There, I said it. You drink PBR so your opinions don't count in polite company.

You never told us about your Paul Gaugin cruise. We did it with a couple of Seattle travel agents and friends.....we loved it.

Might have to be creative to protect the actual persons. Possibly a few peruse CC.....so a tad tricky. They do have internet on SD.....but HH guesses it's nice to "drop the world's business" for a week or so. It'll be here when you get back. Have a great trip. Tell us all about it when you return. ho-hum Posted January 30, 2015 Author #1536 Share Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) Ho hum is a tad confused. Your name and details flagged up on HH's particulars....HH responded and sent what he thought was an acknowledgement of a "Friend Request" but it ended up HH making a "Friend Request" to you ! A dialogue of any kind, public or private may be interesting but sadly HH has more concerns especially about shoreside management and Reservations department in particular but let's give it a go. Sea Dream need to communicate much better.... Oh by the way, ho hum "steps down" on the anniversary of ".,,,,idle jottings" (7 March, 2015) Edited January 30, 2015 by ho-hum

It may surprise you to know that Great Britain is an island and has err.. Wel a lot of water round it...and in that water are fish and we have been using "rods" for quite some time now. Now you mosey along with your chums for pizza and beer. Have a great evening old chum. Feel free to explain any other obvious words at anytime. ho-hum Posted January 30, 2015 Author #1543 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Guess what ol' Ragnar is up to today.... Hey guys have any of you and anybody else, have any of you seen the film "American Sniper" ? Any views ? Last time HH went to the cinema theatre was to see "American Beauty" ! And that was after 10 years. Kevin Spacey as Lester. Burnham was brilliant. One of HH's favourite fims was "American Graffiti". Harrison Ford as Bob Falfa was so cool.......a young Raggy ! Any other "American" films ?
commander courageous Posted January 31, 2015 #1544 Share Posted January 31, 2015 The Commander highly recommends "Whiplash", nominated for Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor nominee, J. K. Simmons ... he'll win in a cakewalk. There is a lot of buzz for "American Sniper", but art and politics rarely jibe ... creating differing reviews. Anyway, not really my cup of tea. Of course, "The Imitation Game" is a must see, especially for folks from your side of the pond. Gimme Bogart and Bacall anytime. They don't make em like they use to! Only 29 more days!
