Tif1171 Posted March 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2014 I booked a JS aft on the enchantment and saw with the pictures online that the couch is near the slider and the bed closer to the door. Hubby and I preferred the bed being near the slider ( like on traditional balcony rooms) where you can wake up to looking at the ocean. Is that a quick swap of furniture we could ask the room steward do upon boarding ( with a nice extra tip)?

bouhunter Posted March 12, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) Seriously?? I really doubt it. I guess you could ask them to make up the sofa bed and sleep there..... Edited March 12, 2014 by bouhunter
Marie51 Posted March 12, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2014 You've got to be kidding, right?? My suggestion is to change to a regular balcony cabin where the bed is near the slider.
nolesrule Posted March 12, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Those couches are sofa beds. You ever try to move one? On a carpeted floor no less? They are HEAVY. (caps, bold, italics and underlined for emphasis)
willing292 Posted March 12, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 12, 2014 No harm in asking. Please let us know if the furniture was rearranged. Shirley, Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

Raenstoirm Posted March 12, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Logistically I don't think they can. The desk/cabinet thing goes across from the couch for space purposes. Granted a JS has more space (so the bed would fit across from it), but without taking things out of the room and putting them back, moving a bed and sofa bed in those tight quarters would be near impossible. I am not sure about enchantment since I have never sailed on her, but Serenade had the bed near the slider, but Grandeur had the bed near the door (both regular balcony rooms), so even a regular room might not have the bed where you want it.
