How can I find out what cabins are still available on my cruise. Do the cruise lines show all available or only a selection?

I believe its a trade secret. ABC cruiseline does not want to share that type of information with a competitor.

You can go to a cruise line website and pretend to book a cabin. Whether the line will show all available, I don't know. It could vary by line. Also, there may be guarentee cabins that are sold, but not assigned a cabin yet.

Do a mock booking, search each deck by cabin type and you will get as close to whats available as possible. I switched suite on our next cruise. 10 min later my old suite showed open and my new one as taken.

With RCI if you do a mock booking through their website is shows a selection of available staterooms in each category (of those that are available for on line booking - certain suite categories are not). You can also enter specific stateroom numbers to see if they would be available as well.

 

Never had any issues with not being able to obtain available stateroom information for any sailing we were interested in looking at - it is all readily available on line as indicated.

The easiest way is to have the deck plans in front of you and call them...they can tell you if the cabins you want are avail.! Easy!
