Secret of Puna tour

Has anyone taken this tour and would you recommend it. Does anyone know if there's any indenpendent tour operators at the pier on big island? Thanks ahead for the help.

We are scheduled to take this tour on our Aug 13th cruise on the POAM...Everybody in our family picks one thing they want to do...this was my son's choice...certainly sounds good and we did like the small group..You didn't say when u are sailing....but if we are before you....I will post an answer with a review for you.....

Did you book this tour directly with the ship?

Yes I did...but it is the only tour I booked thru them....we rented cars in all other ports...and with docking overnight in 2 ports I thought it wiser and cheaper to see things on our own....
