Orient Beach: Best spot for kids, with loungers, drinks, water sports

Hi everyone,

I've read enough to know the further north we go the less chance of we'll have of exposing the kids to full nudity. We know toplessness is everywhere and it's not that big of a deal. I also know that at the very far north end the ocean can be a bit rough for the kids though. So I was thinking we'd set down around the Bikini, La Playa, Waikiki areas? Is this a good choice? Any particular one you think would be good for us?

We are a large group of 5 families. We are 19 people total. The kids range in age from 5-14. The older kids definitely want to do some water sports. The adults want comfort, umbrella/lounge/drink packages, and easy to access drinks and food. I'd love some recommendations. We'll be there next Wednesday off the Oasis. Thanks!!! :)

You should check out Le Galleon beach. Close to Orient but not a nude beach. Great for kids. Reef off shore makes for gentle surf. Lots of nice shallows for kids. Facilities for adults, food, drinks, water toys. Last time I was there, great little floating platform in shoulder deep water that we took our drinks out to and sat on and watched the world go by. It was great.
