Yorkvillain Posted September 3, 2015 #3701 Share Posted September 3, 2015 I hate when I can't edit a post. Preserved = pre-reserved. I do kind of like the sound of preserved in this instance though. Haha!
alishac Posted September 3, 2015 #3702 Share Posted September 3, 2015 For those of you that are able to book entertainment on your Escape cruise, are you able to purchase the spa pass for $179 per couple online? Booking for my cruise just opened today, and it is listing the spa price as $199 per person for the week.

I guess my spa menu that has the couples pass listed as $199 per couple for the week is outdated. :(

The one on Breakaway looks incredible and Escape is supposed to be even better! I figured that I could pay that for an Atlantis your that is much less time and less enjoyable! So, if you have a Haven Spa Suite, the Thermal Spa is at no addition charge, but if you (just) have a Spa Suite, you pay extra, (or are they the same thing?) ? HarpHarp Posted September 3, 2015 #3711 Share Posted September 3, 2015 Thanks. ...just trying to predict a head count for the thermal spa on the transatlantic.:) There are also spa balconies & spa mini suites on the Breakaway & Escape. The Breakaway spa was never crowded even the first cols morning sailing out of New York. The cabins are the same size but come with special spa toiletries & robes and spa access for the week. We had enough of a price drop that the spa cost was minimal on the Breakaway.

Aye, we have a Spa balcony for our cruise in Dec and the cost difference between that and a normal balcony was less than the price of a spa pass. NoahtheRed Posted September 3, 2015 #3715 Share Posted September 3, 2015 Are the salt room and the snow room included in the thermal spa pass? Yeah, the thermal spa is basically all the hot/cold things (Steam room, saunas, the Game of Thrones duo, heated sleepers, etc)
keeponcruising Posted September 3, 2015 #3716 Share Posted September 3, 2015 For all sailing on Transatlantic Brenda Kaye comedy hypnotist will be performing. Try to see her shows she is awesome I love Brenda Kaye. I was hypnotized by her on a Jewel TA cruise back in 2009. After the show, I felt so relaxed. I went to the lady's room and noticed that my mascara ran all over my face. The next day she had a show explaining the process and said that someone under breaths heavy and eyes water and they get the equivalent of 6 hours of sleep. Well that explained it. She even mentioned the lady from the night before as someone who goes under right away; I know she was talking about me. I bought her relaxation CD and still use them today to relax. Just the sound of her voice makes me go out.

Spaniel Lover Posted September 4, 2015 #3723 Share Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) There are FOUR different cabin types that all have access to the thermal suite within the spa. It's important to not get confused between them: Spa Balcony Cabin Spa Mini Suite With Balcony Haven Spa Suite Haven Deluxe Spa Suite If you stay in a "spa balcony cabin" or a "spa mini suite with balcony" you will have access to the thermal suite within the spa, at no extra charge... but you will not have access to The Haven. If you stay in a Haven Spa Suite or a Haven Deluxe Spa Suite you will not only have access to the thermal suite within the spa, but you will also have access to The Haven. The ONLY difference between a Haven Spa Suite and a Haven Deluxe Spa Suite is that a Haven Spa Suite sleeps two and a Haven Deluxe Spa Suite sleeps three... as there is a sleeper sofa in the room. However, it seems a little weird to have three people in a Haven Spa Suite, as the target customer is really a romantic couple. There's a Jacuzzi right inside the cabin, next to the bed... and it's big enough for two. The shower is big enough for two. The thermal suite within the spa is super-romantic. Seems to me that you don't bring along a third person and stay in a Haven Spa Suite! It's a room for romance. I believe the Haven Deluxe Spa Suite (of which there is only one on the Escape), from the pictures currently available, has been determined to be a larger cabin and balcony than the Haven Spa Suite. Of course, we won't know for sure until the first sailing. edit: check out post #3520 (page 176) of this thread for a detailed picture.
