We stayed w/Celebrity for Elite benefits but can't overlook the disappointments.

We are in the same boat Penny. We had not achieved Elite, but not motivated to overlook the disappointments to get there.

I've been on 2 Celebrity cruises and I enjoyed them both. They were not perfect, but those "imperfections" won't prevent me from cruising with them in the future. The only complaint I can make about Celebrity is their lack of good customer service and how their people handle certain situations. They will not do the right thing for you if it means inconveniencing another passenger. For example, if they make an error and relocate you on the ship from the cabin you picked when you booked to a different cabin, they will not remove the new occupant of "your cabin" to give it back to you.
