Fantasy Information

We are sailing on Fantasy for the first time 9/29. I've been on two RCCL (one 7 day and one 3 day) and wondering if there is any big difference between the two lines. We are doing Carnival this time because we wanted more of a fun ship (8 girls leaving kids and hubbies behind). Anybody care to compare the two lines or give some info on the Fantasy ?

Robtraci ~ boy you sound familiar!!! I'm with 6 other girls all leaving OUR DH's and kids at home for a 4-day cruise on Fascination on 9/23!!! Small world, huh? I am so excited about this trip, I can't stand it!!! But, I don't talk about it much with DH because then he starts getting jealous and wants to come with us. Sorry, bud, not THIS time!!! :D Have fun!

Smaller boat and a bit older. Party boat, good wait staff. Nice for shorter cruises.

What time did you go to port and what time were you able to board?

Gosh, that sounds like so much fun, leaving my beloved hubby and kids home and going with just the girls....I wanna go do this too:(!! Maybe next time!! Just had to post, have a blast ladies!!!!:)

Hey if anyone wants some latest info on the Fantasy...I went on the 4 day just this last May...Very GOOOOD cruise director...and I think it is either just going into or going to be coming out of dry dock. (I think it goes in early sept for about 2-3 weeks). So, either you will be about the first ones on after or the last ones before a refitting or maintenance. All I can say is we had an incredible time and I almost went on it again, but the 5 day outta tampa on inspiration fits my schedule better.Gary in Ohio

What time were you at the pier, and what time were you able to board?

I would get to the pier about 11:30 and board by 12 or close thereafter, barring any unforseen problems...................

Since this is a shorter cruise, I'm getting there early so we can enjoy every minute of it!! :D Even if our cabin isn't ready! We'll just hang around onthe lido deck and explore the ship! :)

We get there by 11 and are always on by 1145-1200--
