ReggaeRoy Posted April 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2014 This may seem like a strange question... My wife and I will be on the NCL Pearl in October. I am wondering if you can get 8x10 prints of your own photos on board the ship? I'm sure every ship has a photo lab and has that capability, but will they make prints for passengers? Thanks all. Krazy Kruizers Posted April 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 18, 2014 She should ask this question on the NCL board. I know that HAL will print your digital photos -- they have packages -- very costly. I used to have their price list. They don't do just a few pictures.
Rare mitsugirly Posted April 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2014 I have never seen them offer anything like this. If they did, I'm sure it would probably be an outrageous amount. Why not wait until you get home to have them printed up? You could try shutterfly as well. They are constantly running specials where you get 101 free prints (just ordered another cruise batch of mine today actually) and all you have to pay is the shipping cost (usually about $7). They have a good quality and it's how I print all of my cruise pictures. :)
ReggaeRoy Posted April 22, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted April 22, 2014 Why not wait until you get home to have them printed up? :) I knew someone would ask that... We are going on the Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise. I collect autographed photos of reggae superstars that I hang in my basement "man cave". We normally go see a star and my wife takes photos. Then, the next time we go see that same star, we bring along three 8x10 photos of the star. We give one to him/her and then get the other two autographed for us. This cruise may be my one and only chance to get both a photo and an autograph from some of the stars on the ship. I wonder if I could get prints made during one of the stops in Jamaica??? theump Posted April 22, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 22, 2014 Might try emailing NCL and ask them the question. I know some people that have a protable printer they take along with them to print 4 X 6 photos to share with people but not sure on 8 X 10.
