awhcruiser Posted April 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2014 Why do 15 people insist on getting in a hot tub at 9am and sit there all day? It was virtually impossible to get into a hot tub unless we got up to the deck before 9am. Even the serenity deck had way too many people in the hot tubs. It says 15 mins max on the signs but no one pays attention.

There are a significant percentage of people in our world who are just inherently rude and self absorbed. They don't ever seem to give any consideration to how their behavior impacts others. It's a sad reality of the world we live in.
MichelleChell Posted April 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2014 Didn't have that problem when we were on Magic. We had 1500 kids on board too. I will say though I had a balcony room and could see if they were packed or not when I went in.
PatchesJ72 Posted April 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2014 We've never had that problem. We don't do the MDR anymore so we usually go during the dinner settings and most nights it's just us in the whirlpool...sometimes one or maybe two other couples, but that's it. noxiousdog Posted April 21, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 21, 2014 Agreed. There were always several open last time we went.
dljones Posted April 21, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 21, 2014 Been on Magic twice now and the hot tubs are always crowded. I'm not anxious to get into a hot tub when it is 90 degrees outside anyway. We go to the water park and let the kids dump cold water on us. The big bucket is fun too. I am afraid of heights so I don't do the slides but I bet they are fun too. kona_wahine Posted April 22, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 22, 2014 Am I the only one totally grossed out by the hot tubs on cruise ships? So many people + hot water = ? I find it scary and I don't care how much chemicals they pour in.
