Luggage storage issue

Hi, I have a cruise to the Caribbean coming up in just over a week and just realized something.

We are traveling out of San Juan Puerto Rico and coming back at about 6am to the same port. Problem is, our flight home doesn't leave until 4pm.

Does anyone have any advise as to where we might store our luggage for the 10 hours we'll be in San Juan?

Any services you can think of or places that we can pay to store our luggage while we check out Old San Juan???

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Julie

FYI, you won't really have 10 hours. First, docking at 6am doesn't mean getting off at 6:05. You may not be able to start getting off until 7am. Most things you want to see won't really be open before 8am. And you don't have to be off before 9:30. Then you need time to get to the airport, and be there ahead of your flight. In a more realistic view you have at most 7 hours.

We have the same problem, our flight leaves at 4:15 pm when we return from our cruise. We rented a car for just $45. We take a free shuttle from Budget to their location nearest to the port and return it to the airport. We will be able to go sight seeing, enjoy a meal at a nice restaurant, and even shop a little. And it's not much more than what we would have paid for a taxi to the airport for a family of four. :)

Thanks Cruisingt! This is what we were thinking of doing too! :)

I called Budget San Juan and they said they don't have a shuttle.

Sorry, budget is what I'm using for my upcoming Vegas trip. Got things mixed up. :o Charlie's car rental is pretty close to the pier in San Juan and offers free shuttles. They're pretty reasonable too. We use them when we go to San Juan. Good luck. Hope it works out for you.
