atate75 Posted May 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2014 How far from the pier is the pickup for the trolley? Can we walk? Also, for those of you who have taken this tour how was it and are there any things we should make sure to "hop off" and see?
bhopal21 Posted May 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2014 Your ship will dock at the Westin Hotel pier and it will be a short walk from the pier around the hotel offices to Front St where you will see City View Trolley. Have a great visit! Mike:)

Are you booking through your cruise line or privately through the tour company? We're looking to do this too in October - but it's $20 more through Carnival!!

mrsfuzzmo Posted July 11, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 11, 2014 We docked at the "Outer Mole" and had to shuttle into town. (Pain). Where you dock will depend on your ship and schedule, but the shuttle into town from outer mole will drop you off near where you would catch the trolly tours. Maybe a block away??? Just wanted you to know that you may not be docking in front of the Westin.
fuzzywuzzy Posted October 14, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 14, 2014 Just wondering if anyone has purchased their tickets in advance online? If so, is there an expiry date? I would like to book now for a stop in December.
CintiPam Posted October 14, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 14, 2014 I thought that downtown Key West was very compact. What is the point of the trolley?

KroozFoolz Posted October 16, 2014 #11 Share Posted October 16, 2014 Just wondering if anyone has purchased their tickets in advance online? If so, is there an expiry date? I would like to book now for a stop in December. I don't know if this has changed in the past year, but I purchased tickets online in April 2012. Our plans for our stop there in May 2012 changed and we didn't use the tickets. We went back in November 2013 and were able to use the tickets then with no problems. bhopal21 Posted November 2, 2014 #13 Share Posted November 2, 2014 We just used City View Trolley in Boston and they were great there as well. Nice padded seats and almost half the price of Old Town. Mike:)

serene56 Posted December 16, 2014 #24 Share Posted December 16, 2014 I am seeing City View as the choice of excursions for the cruise lines. Carnival costs is 29.99 pp (seems they pick the cruiselines up at the navy base) so my question is-- how crowded will it be to take this bus how easy will it be to get on and off the bus? Maybe it will be a good idea to get on the bus and not get off and let him look at stuff from a distance????

When we did this tour we stayed on the shuttle through all the stops so then we could decide what we were interestd in......and then got off on those stops the second time around...
