Here's my review on ROS; had a wonderful time! Only thing I neglected to add on the review is that embarkation and debarkation were a breeze! We were on board before 11 am and when we got to our cabin at 1 pm, our luggage was already there waiting for us. Debarkation was just as easy with us walking off the ship by 7:30 am. I had so much angst about this trip before I left because I had read quite a few negative reviews, but I have to say I really enjoyed the Rhapsody. I don't think service is quite as good as it was when I went on the Vision of the Seas in 2001, but it was still very good and I have no complaints whatsoever. I think what we're seeing on cruise ships is just a sign of the times with cutbacks, etc. Plus, I think crew members work very hard and sometimes people just forget to acknowledge that they are hardworking people, away from their families for months at a time, trying to do their job while we're enjoying ourselves. In any case, enjoy my trip report and enjoy the Rhapsody, we sure did! http://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=259579

This is our blog of our July Oosterdam Cruise and land tour. Loved the trip, but if I would do it again, I would definitely spend more than one night in Denali and would add a one day boat tour of the Kenai Peninsula.
