I just booked my first Premier cruise for this November. Just wondering when you get any information that that is what I actually booked. Nothing in online documentation that mentions casino rate or on board casino cash, although my PVP mentioned $300 numerous times. Will I receive any paperwork beforehand?

Thanks for any info.

No they had a list in the casino and the dollar amount was there and they gave it to you.

You should receive a mail with an invoice stating cash amount you bring this to casino to receive your cash, though they never bothered to ask or looked for it last time I did that just check their list and handed me the money.

Loved Carnival Premier Cruises on the Splendor. Staff really took care of you in the casino.

Different story on the Dream, worst casino staff in Carnival.

I have been on Premier Cruises on the Freedom, Glory and Dream. Freedom and Glory were fantastic! Dream was AWFUL!!

Hello,November will be our first cruise. We quite often visit the casinos in Florida at least 3+ times a month. and we always eat drink and get free rooms. We don't gamble a lot of money usually 400 to 500 each but it lasts for hours. We play the 25,00 BJ tables and usually 35.00 a hand and 10.00 for match the dealer side bet so about 45.00 a hand. We put our monies together when we buy chips and they just rate my fiancé. How will that hold up on RC? Can you give us tips to get comps? Should we put our monies together for comp? That's what our hosts here tell us to do..:):)

And does BJ have the side bets as well? Should we play slots also? Thank you for any suggestions....can't wait?

Hi Folks,

We have 2 cabins for an upcoming cruise, SO is listed in one cabin with his adult son (they both want the drink package), he is booked under the slot tourny rate.

I am booked in another cabin with my adult daughter (we don't want the drink package). I am booked under a premier casino rate.

I just purchased FTTF for the SO's cabin but passed on buying it for my cabin since Priority booking is included?

Does that sound correct to the more experienced cruisers? Or should I have purchased it for both?

Thanks

Be aware that the priority boarding included with the casino premier cruise is just for initial check-in and boarding. It does not include any of the other FTTF benefits, unless you already qualify for them as a Platinum or Diamond.

do you get free entry to the tournaments with the premier cruise?

Yes. On my 5-day premier cruise on Triumph we got a free entry to the regular slot tournament. On my 7-day on Conquest they had a slot tournament just for the premier cruisers, with more and better prizes than the regular slot tournament.

I'm doing a Premier cruise and have done a couple in the past. I buy FTTF as I'm sailing solo and that way the cabin will be ready as soon as I board. I can drop all my carry on and not have to drag it around while trying to get lunch and all. For me, that's probably the biggest reason for buying it on a premier cruise.

But since your SO's cabin has FTTF, you have a place to drop all your carry ons. I don't know if I'd buy it for your premier cabin.

I just booked my first premiere cruise and did it online myself through the carnival page. After it was finished and paid in full it gave my booking # and said I would recieve A confirmation email. I havent recieved one as of yet and this was yestrday. Does anyone know if I need to contact carnival or the players club?? We are supposed to have vip boarding and pre cruise party free drinks room gift and casino cash ...do they leave all this in your room or do you go to casino for cruise cash?? Maybe I should have called and booked through A host but I hate waiting on the phone all day lol

You should get a certificate for the casino cash in the mail, part of a general thank you for boarding, here is more information communication. That certificate will need to be taken to the casino cage for redemption. You also will receive the goodies throughout the trip directly in your room. You also will get the special drawings/drink cards on the first day in your cabin, usually with the invitation to the open bar party.

Thanks you!!! Glad someone knows these things lol!!! I will get the hang of it eventually!!! :)

No problem.....I went on a couple before the move to NCL.....still price these, but haven't proven out to be cheaper for the family even with the perks. :) Plus the advantage on the VP pay tables on NCL weighs in well also......will have to get back to one of these at some point.

I hear that, we just hit gold on CCL last one, and will hit the next level with NCL on the one in March.
