jtwanabe Posted May 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2014 (edited) My wife has never been to a tropical beach. I've been to Mr. Santos and it was okay but not breath taking. I've heard of Chankanaab National Park and Xcaret Park but never been. Just want the best beach with the bluest water and plenty of shade. Any suggestions? Thanks:rolleyes: JT Edited May 25, 2014 by jtwanabe
Rare nydney1 Posted May 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2014 We like Nachi Cocum. Beach is not fantasic but there is something to be said to limiting the number of guests to 100.
redheadslovebacon Posted May 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2014 Yes, Nachi Cocom! It is amazing. Great scenery, great food, great (unlimited) drinks, nice pool and hot tub, clean restrooms. Sent from my iPad using Forums
GTO-Girl Posted May 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2014 I agree with Nachi Cocum. All drinks and food are included and everything we had was delicious!!! And because they only take 100 people it makes for a nice peaceful day.
O2Cool Posted May 25, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 25, 2014 It depends on what you want to do. I love Chanknaab because you can just walk into the water and snorkel on your own without having to book a tour. The sea life is plentiful and there is so much to see. Nachi Cocom is always relaxing and the food and service are wonderful. You can parasail or go on a snorkeling tour at an additional cost. Both are great for a beach day. kona_wahine Posted May 25, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 25, 2014 We loved nachi cocum. So quiet. Rent her a floaty for the water, give her a drink, she will be in heaven. The food was really good also.
mishka422 Posted May 25, 2014 #7 Share Posted May 25, 2014 I've been to passion island and Mr. Sanchos and enjoyed Mr. Sanchos much more. Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk
Rare Terre Posted May 25, 2014 #8 Share Posted May 25, 2014 Here's another vote for Nachi Cocum. We go there every time we are in Cozumel and Jose, the bartender, now remembers us! It's usually very quite and is a nice relaxing day.
rhodester Posted May 25, 2014 #9 Share Posted May 25, 2014 Xcaret is a great place but it is not where I would go for a nice beach.

KansasK Posted May 25, 2014 #11 Share Posted May 25, 2014 I have only been to Chankanaab and the beach and water are beautiful. They have grass covered roofs with lounge chairs under them. The snorkeling is good and there is a free water lion show. There are showers and a nearby bar and restaurant. The other places may be great, but I have only been to one. lgbteacher Posted May 26, 2014 #12 Share Posted May 26, 2014 I have been to Chank, Nachi, and Passion Island. Never been to Sanchos. I love all of the ones I have been to for different reasons. Chank for the snorkeling and the grounds. So much to see and do. Nachi for the peacefulness. Only 100 guest allowed. Passion Island for the beauty of the island and we rode the Twister boat there. It was so much fun! I think any of these would be good choices. Have fun!
