Nordam med cruise dress code ?

My husband and I will be on an 11 day med cruise on June 20th on the Nordam.

 

I have read the official dress code ...smart casual can be defined...casual dress, slacks and informal evening wear for women.

 

I am wondering if a pair of capris with a nice top and sandals would be allowed in the dining room in the evening. I am really trying to pack light this trip.

That should be fine and khakis and a polo shirt are certainly acceptable for DH.

Formal night in the MDR will be more dressy but there is alternative dinning if you don't want to pack formal wear

Sounds good to me. Packing light has become essential. Especially if you are traveling by air.

We just came off the Noordam a week ago and what you suggest would be fine for the dining room. I also packed a skirt and long pants for variety. Formal evenings I just wore soft black pants and a fancy top and that seemed quite OK too.

Exactly what I plan to wear. A bit dressier on formal nights. We'll be on the same cruise!

On formal nights DH has given up tuxedos. He wears either a suit or jacket with tie.

Since I use a Rollator, I can no longer wear long skirts, so I wear 3/4 length skirts with a fancy top. I also wear nice flat shoes.
