Flying from JFK to Buapest with a connection in Munich. Being this is my first flight across the Atlantic wanted to ask where would I clear European Customs/Immigration? i.e. Munich or Budapest?

Thanks

Of course this is only if you are treveling with a checked bag. The customs officers at the exit of the baggage area in Budapest would then spot your bag tag that is missing the green stripes that intra-european baggage are tagged with and might want to see your bag.

Youre clearing immigrations and customs in Munich when passing through with your hand luggage.
